About Ardor SEO
A digital agency led by Australian founder Kris Reid. Our remote team works from the US, Southeast Asia and Europe, supported by an administrative team in the Philippines.
What we do
We make business websites matter. Optimised pages rank higher, rankings bring traffic, and traffic that stays, reads and clicks through pushes rankings higher still. Over the years we have worked with global e-commerce stores (WooCommerce, Magento and Shopify), local businesses that need to rank on Google Maps, and national vendors scaling up from a local base.
Today Ardor writes about the two channels that build authority for real estate professionals: search and podcasts. Our sister company, Icons of Real Estate, produces podcasts for agents and books them as guests.
How Ardor got started
Kris Reid studied software engineering at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, then moved to London, where he worked in software engineering for major banks. When the global financial crisis cost him his contract, he built an online game, Mob Warrior, and taught himself SEO to bring players to it. That was the start of Ardor. Read Kris's story.
Ardor and Icons of Real Estate
In 2021 Kris co-founded Icons of Real Estate with Tomás Fonseca, who had worked at Ardor SEO. Icons is a podcast production and guesting company built for real estate professionals, and Ardor is its parent company.
The two work as one system. Icons produces agents' podcasts and books them as guests on other shows; Ardor handles the search side, and for guests on the ICONS of Real Estate Podcast it researches, writes and publishes an SEO-optimised article for the guest's own website. Kris practises what both companies preach: he has been a guest on more than 100 podcasts.
