We are looking for people who have a solid understanding of marketing with a customer service orientated attitude. SEO account managers should understand how digital tools contribute to the strategy and performance of the company.

 
As an SEO Account Manager, you will be working with cross-functional internal teams, such as SEO, Sales, Content, and Outreach in order to improve the overall customer experience. We also expect you to be able to contribute to the growth of the company by cultivating and keeping long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

First and foremost, we want our account managers to have long-term, trust-based relationships with our clients. You will be their first point of contact and will need to have a solid relationship with them, gain their trust, and go to great lengths to understand their unique needs. As an account manager, you are expected to have solid experience in marketing and a clear idea of how digital tools add value to company strategies and performance.

Job responsibilities of an SEO account manager include but are not limited to: 

  • As the client's first point of contact, answer any queries they may have.
  • Maintain long-term, professional, and trusting relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the technical team and the client. Simplifying the technical plan and communicating it to the client effectively.
  • Assist with all customer account management issues.
  • Establish and sustain solid, long-term client connections.
  • Maximize revenues through negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Develop relationships with major clients and customers that position you as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure that our solutions are delivered on time and to the satisfaction of our customers.
  • Communicate the status of monthly/quarterly efforts to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare account status reports and work with the sales team to find and expand opportunities for clients.
  • Keep up with the latest digital technology developments.

Overall, we expect you to be able to contribute to business growth by creating and maintaining long-term client relationships.
